PSP Broken

Finally, it seems, the PSP's time to reign has ended. My PSP is broken, and the world has stopped. I cannot find time in the day to weep for it, so I feel bad for it :P. But some little kid had to go and step on it. Trust me, you would weep, too. It is probably the best handheld I've EVER had.

Clueless Gamers

There are so many clueless gamers out there. One of my acquaintances went and tried to downgrade his psp, and he bricked it. That means that it is only good for a brick now, for it doesn't work. You need to read on how to do things, instead of just trying things. Don't hack or use homebrews unless you are confident nothing bad will happen. Same with the Wii, DS, and other systems.

iFind

One of my favorite portals is called iFind. You can upload images, surf the web, listen to music, play games, and more :) . You can get it by clicking this link: HERE
Please download it; it's amazing. You won't believe what they put in it. It looks simple one the homepage, but then you realize: it's not just an image uploader, it's also much, much more!
Please pore over the README for info on how to use it.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Oh my gosh, it's already out! I had been waiting for months for the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and when it did come out I almost flipped. It has amazing graphics, an awesome stage editor, cool characters from other publishers, classic characters, incredible effects and attacks, a good challenge, and much, much more. It also has a good A.I. so you won't want to put it down! You can catch another review at www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/928518.asp, or just click here.

The New PSP Slim

When the new PSP slim came out, everyone was excited. But now, we are getting mixed reviews. Some people like the old one while others like the Slim. The people who liked the old one said that the Slim was uncomfortable, and also that the new firmware was harder to hack into. Those that like the Slim say that the new firmware offers many different choices, with new advancements. It has better color, they also say. They like how the Slim runs most games faster with less load time. All in all, I like advancements and new things, so I'll set my opinion in the Slim. I'm not pressuring you; you may like whichever one you want, because each one has its ups and downs.

Lego Indiana Jones

After the arrival of Lego Star Wars, many fans were disappointed, for much of the actual story mode was from the Nintendo D.S. and the Sony PSP. They just turned their heads away from the Lego series. But then Lego Indiana Jones came out, and some of the fans leaped for joy. Now, the new Lego-ized saga is out, and getting noticed. It has amazing gameplay. I never would have even thought about being able to pick up items. And you can crack Indy's whip by flicking the Wii remote. In Lego Star Wars, everybody followed the rules as to whether you were a shooter, bounty hunter, Jedi, droid, small character, Sith, or an alien or creature. In Indiana Jones, it's different. Every person has different abilities, and Indy made his own category: whipping adventurer, and he's whippin' himself into the stores near you. Go out and buy it!

PSP Portals

YOUR GUIDE TO PORTALS

"Oh, that one's good!" All you hear about if you have a psp are the good parts of portals. I'm here today to tell you my experiences with portals, which ones to get, how to install them, and how to use them.

The Portals

Ok, where do I start? Oh yeah, the "... tell you my experiences... " part. I have a psp myself, and I have to say, my favorite so far is the PSP Optimize v1.5.

First of all, it doesn't have just great icons and looks! It has quality. Most of the people at the moment making portals are

just newbies that think theirs are the best. PSP Optmize is not one of those portals. It has a clock, games, good applications such as Text Editor, 8 Ball, and a calculator. It has net applications, with tools such as unzipping files, file sharing, email, and PSPube. It has stunning graphics and games that keep you in your seat.

I have another favorite, but for other reasons. It is called X5 ver. 2.00. This one is a portal of a macintosh computer called, "The X5" (duuuuhhh!). I don't have any pictures for this one, but I do have some good criticism. The reason is that the X5 has iTunes instead of that bad PSP-fitted media player, PSPTunes. It has a calender, email, a quicktime player, safari (the standard mac browser), iPhoto, an address book, and more. It has the functionality of a mac, and is great for your media.

______________________________________________________________________

Oh yes, I forgot about one: the PSPWXP. It is an amazing Windows Vista portal with incredible graphics, and a stunning life-like start menu and applications. You almost can't believe it with your eyes. I first downloaded it, and I was excited, actually excited about the portal. It even starts like a pc! The only bad part is, it takes up a lot of space in your memory stick.

___________________________________________________________________

The iPSP is a piece of junk. It only looks nice. The only useful application was Vipr Online, but now, they changed the url, so it won't work. I guess the games are all right, but they could have done better because they were choppy. The one good thing is that it actually looks like an iPhone start page. If that weren't true, it would be completely useless and a waste of your and the creator's time.

_____________________________________________________________________

Don't get the Wii portal, either. Nothing is good on that. In the iPSP portal, at least the pictures looked real. The Wii menu in the portal is nothing like the real thing, and their are only 5 channels, one of which, doesn't really work.

______________________________________________________________________

What is a portal?

A portal is a recreation of a program, application, or computer that is fitted either for the PSP, or to the PSP, also. They usually can play some kind of media, and most of the time, games. Some are useful, with internet applications while others are just for fun.

______________________________________________________________________

Where to get them

Your best bet is to find the forums in playstation.com, then go to psp. You will see several different subcategories, but find PSP Media. Anything posted that has portal in the name, but not something like, "portal?"(without the quotes), will most likely have posted portals.
